Нові конкурси освітньої програми Erasmus Mundus

Європейська Комісія оголосила нові конкурси проектів у рамках освітньої програми Erasmus Mundus II, що фінансується ЄС. Загальний бюджет конкурсів — 170 мільйонів євро. Програма відкрита для вищих навчальних закладів з усіх країн світу, зокрема з України.
Програма має три компоненти: «Спільні програми Erasmus Mundus» (Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes), «Партнерства Erasmus Mundus» (Erasmus Mundus Partnerships) та «Популяризація європейської вищої освіти» (Promotion of European Higher Education).
У рамках компоненту «Спільні програми Erasmus Mundus» ЄС фінансує створення спільних магістерських та докторських програм між вищими навчальними закладами країн ЄС та університетами з-поза його меж.
Мета другого компоненту, «Партнерства Erasmus Mundus» — посилення співпраці між вищими навчальними закладами ЄС та країнами з-поза меж Євросоюзу для сприяння мобільності студентів, докторантів, дослідників та адміністративного персоналу ВНЗ.
Бюджет цього компоненту для країн Східного партнерства складає 35,649 млн. євро.
Нарешті, компонент «Популяризація європейської вищої освіти» надає підтримку міжнародним ініціативам, дослідженням, проектам та подіям, націленим на посилення міжнародного виміру вищої освіти. Одним із пріоритетів цього річного конкурсу є країни-сусіди ЄС.
Останній термін подачі заявок на всі три компоненти — 30 квітня 2012 року.
Вищі навчальні заклади з України можуть брати участь у конкурсах як «повноцінні партнери» у складі міжнародних консорціумів. Утім, подавати заявку на ці конкурси (тобто бути лідером консорціуму) має право лише університет з «європейської країни» (держави ЄС, Європейського економічного простору, чинної чи потенційної країни-кандидата на вступ до ЄС).
Нагадаємо, що Erasmus Mundus — це освітня програма ЄС, спрямована на активізацію міжнародного співробітництва та підвищення мобільності серед студентів, викладачів та науковців. Акцент програми зроблено на підвищенні освітньої співпраці між країнами ЄС та державами з-поза його меж.

New Erasmus Mundus call for proposals issued by the Commission
The European Commission has issued a call for proposals worth more than €170 million for 2012 in the framework of the EU-funded programme Erasmus Mundus II. The program is opened to all countries in the world, including Ukraine.
The Erasmus Mundus call (EACEA/42/2011) aims to support projects under the programme's three actions:
Action 1: Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes, including Action 1A: Erasmus Mundus Master Courses (EMMC) and Action 1B: Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorates (EMJD). The action aims at fostering cooperation between higher education institutions and academic staff in Europe and third countries with a view to creating poles of excellence and providing highly trained human resources.
Action 2: Erasmus Mundus Partnerships aiming at fostering structured cooperation between European and third-country higher education institutions through the promotion of mobility at all level of studies for students (undergraduate and masters), doctoral candidates, researchers, academic and administrative staff (not all regions and lots may include all types of mobility flow).
The budget of the action for Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) is €35.649 million.
Action 3: Promotion of European higher education, aiming at promoting European higher education through measures enhancing its attractiveness, profile, image, visibility and accessibility. Action 3 provides support to transnational initiatives, studies, projects, events and other activities related to the international dimension of all aspects of higher education. One of the priorities for this year's Call consists in the selection of projects with a particular regional focus on Neighbourhood countries.
The deadline for submission of applications under all three Actions is 30 April 2012.
Higher education institutions from all ENPI countries are eligible to take part as full partners in Erasmus Mundus projects, though applications must be submitted by a European institution. A partner search tool (link below) is available to help applicants.
The Erasmus Mundus programme's overall aim is to promote European higher education, to help improve and enhance the career prospects of students and to promote intercultural understanding through cooperation with third countries.
