ЄС та Молдова розпочинають діалог про права людини

Європейський Союз та Молдова розпочинають Діалог з прав людини у рамках ширшої двосторонньої співпраці.
Міністри держав ЄС у справах освіти, молоді та культури погодилися запровадити Діалог з прав людини з Молдовою. Такий вид співпраці має на меті розгляд проблеми захисту прав людини «у більш поглиблений спосіб з досягненням конкретних результатів», — йдеться у висновках Ради Міністрів ЄС у справах освіти, молоді та культури. Діалог також має «активізувати діалог з питань прав людини під час багатосторонніх форумів».

Зустрічі в рамках Діалогу відбуватимуться по черзі в Молдові та ЄС щонайменше один раз на рік. «Діалог залучатиме громадянське суспільство, а також передбачатиме обмін з відповідними міжнародними та регіональними ор ганізаціями — ООН, ОБСЄ та Радою Європи», — говориться у висновку.

EU Ministers of Education, Youth and Culture agreed to launch a Human Rights Dialogue with Moldova. They reached the conclusion that the objective of such dialogue on the one hand is to raise human rights issues "in a more in-depth manner with the view toward achieving concrete results ", and on the other hand, «to enhance dialogue on human rights topics in multilateral fora», conclusions of the EU Council on Education, Youth and Culture say.

Meetings under the dialogue will be held at least once a year, with meetings held, in principle, alternately in the Republic of Moldova and in the European Union. «The dialogue will integrate a civil society component and, on an ad hoc basis, include exchanges with relevant international and regional organisations such as the United Nations, the OSCE and the Council of Europe,» noted in the conclusion.
